COPD Support

COPD Support Information Education Burnsville MNChronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive lung disease. Increasing breathlessness is a primary symptom. While currently not curable, there are many things that can be done to manage it. The COPD Foundation provides a wealth of information.

If you want to connect with other people with COPD, there is a group called COPD360social. By joining you can receive support, learn and chat with experts. They have over 35,000 members. There is also a toll-free number you can call 1-866-316-2673. That is the COPD Information Line.

If you are the caregiver for someone with COPD, you may need support as well. You can find it at the COPD Foundation website as well. You can find that information here. As a caregiver you can also call the COPD Information Line mentioned above.

Whether you are living with COPD as a patient or a caregiver, know that you are not alone. There are others out there that are ready and willing to help you.
